upright, armed, aimed and ready! At least some of us get to take a walk on the wild side :-)

Now NASA is really big... but lucky me gets to see alot of all the things going into space and watch how everythings done. Really neat, it feeds my insatiable cureosity and keeps me looking for the whys/hows of things. Wish they did things the right way the first time though... always rush rush... dont have time to do it right mentality that costs more money and time than getting it done the right way the first time..... But enough of my complaints

Here is that abominal thing that WILL finally be launched.... when?
Now here is a little VARY scary story I would love to share


Take a group of 6 apes in a large cold room
With a staircase up to a landing with bananas on it.
First time one goes for em' hose them all down with ice cold water.
Soon the others are beating on any who try to go up the stairs
continue till they stop trying for the bananas

. . now

Remove one ape and replace it with a younger one who hasn't see any of this
He doesnt know that if he goes up there that water will be sprayed onto the apes
As he goes to the stairs all 5 apes attack him viciously
In time he learns if you try and get the bananas everyone beats on you
Again replace one of the older apes with a younger one who never has see this before
As he attempts to get at the bananas everyone attacks him, even the new ape does so enthusiasticly.
Soon he knows too that to go and get the bananas is to be beaten up by the others
Repeat untill all the original apes or gone and still they will beat any other ape who trys to get the bananas
Even though none of them knows of the water or reason for it they all join in beating the new ape with enthusiasm

This isnt all that scary, that can be seen as the only way for them to learn communal knowledge without as much language skills and thought as humans.
Now think this
government is created and sustained in the same pattern............... now THAT is scary.
