Rokkaku
I am vary Facinated with how some vary imaginative people have painted there Fighting Kites Called "Rokkaku". Vary beutiful. Im interested in this but time and such wont allow it to be more right now. One of those things that Im keeping in mind for mabey in a few years type thing....
These Kites are used
in a game of battle.
Object being survival during the game.
Not losing control of your kite while others attempt to cut your line with there line,
beat your plane down,
blocking your wind to force a landing.
All the while you attempting the same
while staying up in the air.
Unfourtunatly for me, and you, if you want to know about them from me,
... building-painting-flying and such about Kites are not somthing I know about too well.
I do know if you would like to build one and paint it that information is available on the net pretty easily. Also the material they use... a ripstop non-organic material. Doesnt accept dyes made for cotton well(happens to be the most available) but more expensive ones like silk paint and such are used. I have heard one person say there was another type that he used with great results, mostly because it was thicker where silk paint is thin and half the cost of it as well.
